Our Northern California forests are incredible. We have been distilling them as a part of aromatherapy/distillation workshops at festivals for over two years now and there is not a smell in the world comparable. Our forests are filled with Grand Fir (Abies grandis), Douglas Fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii), Red Fir (Abies magnifica), White fir (Abies concolor), Red Cedar (Thuja plicata), Ponderosa Pine (Pinus ponderosa), Sugar Pine (Pinus lambertiana), and many more! We have distilled Lake County (a few times), Feather River (twice) & most recently the Yuba River.
The scent is uniquely refreshing, awakening, and yet deeply earthy. It is freshly green yet citrusy and distictively coniferous. Upon inhalation it will help stop negative thinking, encourage focus and motivation, and is a respiratory cleanser and tonic. It can be used as a toner for oily skin types and is a fantastic antiseptic due to the terpenes' anti bacterial and anti viral properties. It is delicious when added to water, and can help strengthen your immune system as well.
