We have had a busy summer and we love to end our campout season with this special family affair.
It This workshop is split into two parts over two days. Friday we will walk the grounds and talk about the herbs around us and harvest for the distillation. Since conifers are such dense plant material we will be soaking it over night and doing the distillation the next day.
Part 1 - Friday at 6pm - Meet at the Pool / Amphitheater area
We are going to walk the grounds and harvest a small amount from a lot of trees so we are not stripping any one or taking too much.
Part 2 - Saturday at 12 - 3pm - Redwood Hydrosol Distillation - Amphitheater area. Come check out the distillation of the Redwood needles and resin. Leave with your bottle of hydrosol to refresh your psyche, ground your energy, and uplift your spirits. Have lunch as the restaurant is right there as well.
This is our 10th Distillaversary!! I (Monica) have been teaching this workshop and distilling at Raindance Presents Campouts every year for the last decade. It was the first place I ever taught a distillation workshop, and we have been on a roll ever since. We have distilled Conifers all over Northern California, including Santa Cruz Mountains, Saratoga Springs, Yuba River, Feather River, and Humboldt. Huge thank you to them for supporting our learning journey and providing the place to share it with so many. Here is to another decade!!
